Attention (ALERT)!

Provincial Drugs Control Unit received a case report of Gastrointestinal symptoms and Pancreatitis due to long term use of Piroxicam. The drug is known to cause such problem. Public is advised to immediately seek medical attention if upper abdominal pain, fever, nausea or vomiting like symptoms appear after use of pain medicines like Piroxicam.
