Federal DRAP issued Withdrawal/ Recall of the RBST!
The Federal Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) issued withdrawal/ recall notification to health departments across the country to withdraw the Synthetic Recombinant Bovine Somato-Tropin (RBST) Injection used for increasing the production of milk in cattle. Registration of the RBST injection was canceled by the DRAP effectively disallowing its use in the country. All Healthcare Professionals and Consumers are informed to immediately stop the usage and sale of RBST.
