Capsule MOGALIS Suspected by Allopathic Ingredient “Sildenafil Citrate” by Drug Testing Laboratory Punjab.
Capsule: MOGALIS
Description: Off White Coloured Powder in Light Green Colour Capsule in Transparent Polythene Bag
Manufactured by: Asli Sultani Dawakhana Jindah Shah Bukhari Road Nazd Railway Line Khanpur.
Background: Provincial Drug Inspector collected the sample from Khanpur District Rahim Yar Khan and sent it to the Punjab Drug Testing Laboratory (DTL) for testing and analysis.
Problem: DTL found Allopathic Ingredient “Sildenafil Citrate” in this preparation. Sildenafil Citrate is a Vasodilator and may have severe adverse effect in specific population.
Recommendation: This product does not meet appropriate quality standards and specifications and may therefore, be ineffective and potentially harmful to patients. All concerned are intimated to keep caution in procurement, dispensation, promotion and use of this pharmaceutical product.
