Tablet VASCAM has been Declared SUB-STANDARD by Drug Testing Laboratory Punjab!

Tablet: VASCAM 20mg Tablet (Piroxicam: 20mg)

Batch No. 7A116

Manufactured by: Rasco Pharma, 5.5 km Raiwind Road, Lahore, Pakistan.

Background: Provincial Drug Inspector collected the sample from Central Jail Mianwali, and sent it to the Punjab Drug Testing Laboratory (DTL) for testing and analysis.

Problem: DTL has found weight variation in tablet. Therefore, DTL has been declared it SUB-STANDARD.

Recommendation: This product does not meet appropriate quality standards and specifications and may therefore, be ineffective and potentially harmful to patients. All concerned are intimated to keep caution in procurement, dispensation, promotion and use of this pharmaceutical product.
