Adverse Drug Event Reported from DHQ Layyah!
Infusion Ciprofloxacin (Quilox-Bosch) was administered in A&E Department produced Chills & Shivering in a patient.
Investigations revealed it to be a Drug Administration Error. The Event subsided after Infusing according to Recommended Guidelines (200mg over 30minutes).
