Members of the "NEUROFIELD" team at the University of Minho, Flora Ferreira and Weronika Wojtak, won the Third Price of the 2019 International Collegiate Competition for Brain-inspired Computing at Tsinghua University, Peking (China) http://contest.cbicr.org/en/. They presented the theory, neuro-computational principles and robotics applications of a novel dynamic field model on "Learning of sequences with time constraint" .

Flora Ferreira, Weronika Wojtak and Wolfram Erlhagen received as part of an interdisciplinary team the Best Poster Award of the workshop "Towards Cognitive Vehicles" of the 2019 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems in Macau (China) https://cogvehicles2019.github.io/. They presented an application of the novel DNF model developed in the NEUROFIELD project: " A dynamic neural model for endowing intelligent cars with the ability to learn driver routines: where to go, when to arrive and how long to stay there?
