Below are all of the important text and voice channels in the MCU Discord.
This should serve as a tutorial for the channels we have and how to use them.
This is a text channel where all of our members and LT team talk about anything on their mind. The only rules are the ones listed under the rules tab as well as you should not use pictures or videos in this chat as it takes up space.
This is a text channel that's used for all of the bot music commands. You are not permitted to hold casual conversation here nor are you allowed to use it to troll in voice channels.
This is perhaps one of our best text channels for the avid Mineplex players because it allows you to have 24/7 connection with Mineplex staff for those pesky little hackers. If you ever find one, simply say, "(Hackers Name) / (Server Name) / (Hacks Used) / @MineplexStaff "
The monitor and mentor chats are used for communication between montiees / monitors and mentiees / mentors. In these chats, you have more freedom as you can casually interact with your fellow members and monitor / mentor. Here you can also ask questions about anything you may have and have a good time in general. They are labelled MO-... and ME-...
These voice channels will be used to interact with other members, visitors, and anyone who is on the discord. You can speak about anything you want but ensure that you follow all rules stated for the voice channels.
These three channels can be used for one on one game-play with other people in the discord, a private conversation, or a small meeting. Each private room has a limit amount of people that can enter. Private Room One has a limit of 2 people, Private Room Two has a limit of 3 people, and Private Room Three has a limit of 4 people.
This channel is to be used not for talking - but for playing music with Fredboat. You bring fredboat into this channel by doing ;;join in #music-config. This should be the only place that you play music in.
Meeting will rarely be used, but it is typically very big when we do use it.
The events channel is used for voice communication during an event on MCU. It may be an MPS, karaoke, or other events that will be held here. This channel should not be used to communicate with other people on the discord server.
