I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at  California State University, Bakersfield. I have been awarded tenure and Associate Professorship effective next academic year. 

My research interests span a variety of topics and applications ranging from Cyber security, the Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Digital Forensics, Cloud Security, Adhoc sensor networks, Distributed computing, and Vehicular Networks and Autonomous Vehicles. At CSUB, I've been teaching various levels of computer science courses and actively working on the course and curriculum development. At my previous institutes, I served on the department's ABET process. Please visit my Teaching and Service pages for more information.

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at North Dakota State University (NDSU). I was honored with life membership of Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the honor society of the computing and information disciplines, in 2010.  I served as the Global Outreach Ambassador for NDSU. I received an Academic Achievement Award and a Green and Golden Globe Award at NDSU.

I am a senior member of IEEE and ACM. I am also a member of the IEEE Communications Society and IEEE Women in Engineering.
