I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at California State University, Bakersfield. I have been awarded tenure and Associate Professorship effective next academic year.
My research interests span a variety of topics and applications ranging from Cyber security, the Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Digital Forensics, Cloud Security, Adhoc sensor networks, Distributed computing, and Vehicular Networks and Autonomous Vehicles. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at North Dakota State University (NDSU). I was honored with life membership of Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the honor society of the computing and information disciplines, in 2010. I served as the Global Outreach Ambassador for NDSU. I received an Academic Achievement Award and a Green and Golden Globe Award at NDSU.
I am a senior member of IEEE and ACM. I am also a member of the IEEE Communications Society and IEEE Women in Engineering.
