Gabriella Casias

Class of 2024Editor

Gabriella is one of our editors in this year's LitMag. She enjoys working with other people and likes to lead as an editor. She shows her leadership in our critique team through her work, and she is a fantastic editor. Outside of the work room, she plays volleyball and loves to read in her free time.

Camille Buenaventura

Class of 2024Editor

This is Camille's first year as a part of the LitMag team, and she is already one of the best editors we have on the LitMag team this year! One of her favorite things she likes to do is play her piano. If she isn’t editing, she is for sure watching her favorite show, Gilmore Girls.

Leila MaraRAc

Class of 2024Designer

This is Leila's first year being part of the LitMag Team. She is an amazing designer! She loves to talk to her friends, play video games, and create art. Her favorite form of art is drawings and doodles. Her favorite task in LitMag is going through all the beautiful art pieces, because she can see how talented the students are, and getting to help others share the things that they are passionate about.

Cameron Davila

Class of 2024Copy-Editor

Cameron is a copy-editor for this year's LitMag. Her favorite task as copy-editor is to read all the beautiful submissions that come in, especially paintings, which are her favorite. When she's not working as a copy-editor, she enjoys teaching herself sign language, playing tennis, and of course painting.

Camanay Delgado

Cammy is acting as a copy-editor for the LitMag during her Freshman year. Cammy likes editing pictures and working with different forms of art. Cammy enjoys photography and watching shows.

Stephanie Garcia

Class of 2023Copy-Editor

This is Stephanie 's first year as part of the LitMag team. She is one of the best copy-editors we have! One of her favorite things to see on the Zine is the creative content and funny pictures people send in. If she isn’t editing, she is doing something productive in her free time.

Alina Alderete

Class of 2024Publicist

This is Alina’s first year being a part of the LitMag Team. She is an amazing Publicist! She loves playing volleyball and spending time with her friends. Her favorite task in LitMag is to share people’s ideas and thoughts with others, and her favorite part of LitMag is the people she’s working with this year. Her favorite form of art for the LitMag is the drawings, because she loves to draw.

Alessandra Gomez

Class of 2024Publicist (Fall Issue)

Alessandra is one of our Publicists this year. She helps others to express themselves through sharing their work on the LitMag. She has been working with the LitMag since the beginning of the school year, and she is helping make this year's magazine great! Alessandra likes to play volleyball, to spend time with her friends and to play with her dog.

Hailey Hendrix

Class of 2024Marketing

Hailey is part of the Marketing Team for this year's LitMag. Her favorite part about LitMag is sharing people's wonderful work with the school, especially photography. She enjoys making submission campaigns, and her creativity makes her a great addition to this year's Marketing Team!

Catalina Moore

This is Cat’s first year as part of the LitMag Team. She is an amazing member of marketing, because she is always so optimistic and very funny! Her favorite task is to collaborate with her friends to make the LitMag even better and getting to spend time with her friends.

Juleanna Trejo

JuLeAnna has participated in LitMag since the beginning of the year, and she is acting as part of the marketing team. JuLeAnna likes to find new ways to make the LitMag known through social media. JuLeAnna enjoys listening to music and playing volleyball.

Minh Nguyen

Minh's favorite movie is Wall-E. During her free time she loves reading books, spending time outside, and doing origami. Her favorite thing about school is the opportunities that Incarnate Word High School has to offer that will help her later on in life.

This is Ilianna's first year at Incarnate Word. Her favorite show is Anne with an "E". In her free time she loves to read and listen to music. Her favorite thing about school is hearing people's different opinions on certain topics.

Therese, also known as Reesie, likes to play with her dog and have fun with her family. She enjoys watching the Avengers movies and likes the new friendships that she is making at school. Her favorite thing about being on the LitMag is working with people who like the same things as her, and Reesie loves her position because she can express herself by designing the LitMag.

Elena, or "Evy", is a member of the class of 2024 and this is her first year as a designer for the Zine! Evy's favorite part about being a designer for is that she is able to do something that she's never done before. Evy's favorite movie is The Longest Ride. During her free time she likes to watch Netflix or play volleyball.

Addison Murphy

This is Addison's first year at Incarnate Word. Her favorite show is the Gilmore Girls. In her free time she enjoys being active and playing sports, especially basketball and softball. Her favorite thing about school is math, and meeting new people.

Ava's favorite show is F.R.I.E.N.D.S. During her free time, her favorite thing to do is to read a good book. Ava's favorite thing about Incarnate Word High School is that she has independence. She also gets to hang out with friends and work on school work.

Liana Herr

Liana's favorite part about school is having a close relationship with everyone, including the teachers. During her free time she likes to sleep. Her favorite part of being a member of the LitMag is to look at people's creativity and find peace and emotion in it.

Iliana Martinez

Class of 2024Publicist

Iliana is a Publicist this year on the LitMag team. Her favorite part about school is meeting new people, and being able to feel a part of the family here at IWHS. During her free time, Iliana likes to play volleyball and watch her favorite shows: Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars. Her favorite part about being on the LitMag is working on her writing skills, while also being able to have fun and learn new things.

Amaris Morin

Class of 2023Publicist

Amaris's favorite thing to do during her free time is to write music. She also enjoys being outside or anything to do with nature. Her favorite thing about school is all the opportunities given through academics and the extracurricular activities. She also loves that she made lots of friends at school.

This is Brianna's first year at Incarnate Word. Her favorite show is The Walking Dead. In her free time, she likes riding bikes. Her favorite things about school are participating in clubs and making friends.

Mia Moore

This is Mia's first year at IWHS and her first year as a member of the Marketing Team. Her favorite part about being a member of the LitMag Team is that she is able to express her creativity. Her hobbies include: basketball, volleyball, and painting in her free time. She likes to hang out with her friends, and her favorite show is The Flash.

This is Maricella's first year as a member of the Zine's Marketing Team. Her favorite part about school is making relationships with peers and teachers. In her free time, she likes to spend her extra hours reading books. Her favorite TV show is Get Even.

Lulu's favorite thing about school is the academics and activities the school provides. In her free time she enjoys skateboarding and bingeing Netflix. This is Sophia’s third year with the Literary Magazine and her second year as Poetry Editor. While she loves writing, she also loves to be inspired by the creativity of her team and the work submitted by her peers. She is so excited to spend her senior year with LitMag!

Christine Ramos

Class of 2023Art Editor

Christine is the Art Editor of the IWHS Literary Magazine Club for 2020-2021. This is her second year with the Club Staff and her second year as Art Editor. Christine is a born artist and is creative with other things that are considered an art, such as cooking, painting, playing the guitar or the ukulele, writing, etc.
