What is Cupping?
It's a technique that produces a vacuum- like seal to draw the superficial muscle layer into the cup. This stimulates circulation of blood, breaks up adhesions (aka knots) and creates a way for toxins to be drawn out of the lymphatic system making a discoloration mark where the cup was. Cupping affects the tissues up to 4" deep which includes blood vessels, fascia, muscles and scar tissue. Cupping is a great addition to a massage treatment at no extra cost!
Benefits of cupping include:
Full body relaxation ( parasympathetic response)
Detoxifies metabolic waste in the muscle tissue, fascia and skin
Increases range of motion
Promotes lymphatic drainage and circulation. So remember to drink lots of water before and after your treatment
