Hindu Temple Youth Group started in 2003 with a small group of students ages 10 and above. We met twice a month on Sunday afternoons and later switched to Sunday mornings. In 2015, we expanded the school to include children ages 5 and above when extra space in the temple house became available. We also changed biweekly classes to weekly meetings to increase our connection with students. The newly constructed Cultural and Educational Center with real classrooms allowed us to shift our class meetings to Saturday mornings since 2019. COVID-19 pandemic forced us to switch to virtual learning in March
2020. Enrollment has consistently grown to approximately 300 students as of 2019-2020 school year. Our students are engaged in learning religious scriptures, culture, customs, temples, shlokas, bhajans, and yoga by fifteen dedicated teachers.
