The best thing anyone can do to help the PTA is just get to know the PTA. Ask lot's of questions and make lot's of suggestions. Families: Join PTA by selecting Family PTA Membership and then typing in your child(ren)'s name(s), and the names of up to two of their parent(s) or caregiver(s) that are joining PTA as a family.
Teachers and Staff: Select Teacher PTA Membership from the drop down membership and then type your name in the Child and Teacher box.
The Highlands Elementary School PTA is a volunteer, nonprofit organization of parents and educators working together to promote the well being of every student. There’s no question that children perform better when their parents are involved both at home and in school. Grades and test scores climb. Self-esteem grows. Schools improve. Every family that joins the PTA provides vital support for our mission and has a vote at PTA meetings.
Highlands Dollar-a-Day Education Fund
The Highlands Dollar-a-Day Education Fund is an educational fundraising plan that helps us bridge the financial gap between public funding for our school and the true cost of the full educational experience at Highlands Elementary School. The suggested donation is $180 per student, which works out to $1 per school day. If you'd like to donate an amount different from the amounts suggested, please use the Donate button found above.

Or you can send money using PayPal or Zelle. Our PayPal Account and Zelle Account use the PTA's yahoo email address. Please put your child's name, teacher's name, and what the money is for in the memo.
