Description: In this Biology class you will be getting a broad overview of God’s creation through the study of the various animal kingdoms, the scientific method, the cell, the chemistry of life, and genetics. During class we will discuss the course material and perform experiments including dissections. Students will learn to use a laboratory notebook and how to write a laboratory report. They will also be required to do a verbal and poster presentation. Note: This course is equivalent to grade 11 biology (SBI3U), but may be taken by students in grades 9-12. I suggest biology in grade 9 (SBI3U), chemistry in grade 10 (SCH3U), and physics in grade 11 (SPH3U) for science in high school.
