Professor DiBello is an Adjunct Assistant Professor who teaches the Mergers & Acquisitions course at Bentley University. His prior experience includes 20-years as General Partner and Chief Financial Officer for a transatlantic venture capital firm, TVM Capital. He has most recently been CFO for a start up investment fund, and previously was a Senior Audit Manager at PWC
Professor DiBello earned his Bachelor’s degree in accountancy and his MBA from Bentley University.
Jeff started his entrepreneurial journey as a member of the Lycos executive team where he played a highly impactful role creating alliances, investments and global ventures which helped accelerate and propel the company to its industry leading position. After Terra Lycos, Jeff Co-Founded NameMedia. Jeff was awarded the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award in New England for his vision and leadership of NameMedia, creating the largest secondary market in the domain industry and a valuable network of niche media sites. NameMedia was acquired by Internet Brands, GoDaddy & Endurance. Jeff went onto become CEO of Swap.com, creating the largest online consumer marketplace for the exchange of goods. During his leadership Swap.com won many awards including Entrepreneur Magazine's "Most Brilliant Company" Award. Swap.com was acquired by NetCycler.
Most recently, Jeff Co-Founded and has served as CEO of Raptor Sports, where he spearheaded the launch of the innovative Fan Manager platform for the sports industry. Jeff has always been committed to applying his experiences to help other entrepreneurs build their businesses. Jeff has founded Bennett Global Group, LLC, to leverage his global network and twenty years of experience to serve as a platform for these advisory services.
Jeff is attending Stanford University's Executive Education Program and received his Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Bentley University.
Paul has more than 20 years of experience in venture capital and financial markets, most recently serving as Cofounder and Managing Director of Sigma Prime Ventures. He is currently on the board of Contently, BIOM Personal Bionics, Rethink Robotics, WordStream, and Nasuni. Paul was previously CFO at Vista Print, CEO of Rave Wireless Inc and StorageNetworks, and Senior Manager at Ernst & Young.
Paul received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Bentley University.
Janak's entrepreneurial roots are close to Bentley, as he was involved in his first startup venture, CampusCareerCenter.com in his second semester as an MBA student at Bentley University in 1998. Since then, he has been co-founder and CIO at Synestesi Technologies (also incubated at Bentley University and sold to Spry Media Group), CIO at Generation Health (Sold to CVS Caremark), CEO at Type I Diabetes Exchange, and is currently the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Strategy at lifeIMAGE - the largest medical imaging exchange ecosystem in the United States. In addition to his professional positions, Janak has also led global ventures with Partners Healthcare System, Siemens Healthcare, and Deloitte's Life Sciences & Healthcare Practice, which manages a multi-hundred million dollar portfolio of products. Throughout his career, Janak has always been at the cutting edge of science and technology, innovating with Boston's best and brightest in areas of machine learning, analytics, standards-based interoperability, healthcare exchanges and patient health records.
Additionally, Janak has served as an advisor to U.S. DoD contractors - Asynchrony Solutions and Schaffer Corporation in areas of proximity solutions, patient safety, and IoT. He also has experience working on buy-side due diligence and early stage venture investments at Brooke Ventures, Federal Street Capital and Progress Partners focusing on telecom infrastructure, ad serving tech, and medication therapies for oncology.
Janak currently serves as one of the judges for MassChallenge and is an advisor to early stage startups in the bio-pharmaceutical and healthcare IT space. He continues to serve with pride in the U.S.A.F. Search & Rescue Squadron 1001st-PA as a 1st Lt.
