David MacLeod has sung at blues open mics in Albany, Rochester and Syracuse and was a founding member and lead singer with Scotty Mac and the Night Owls. He has since had the good fortune to marry Debbie Reep MacLeod.
Debbie has been a long-time flute instructor and has performed in the Oneonta area with Orpheus Theater, the Mask and Hammer Theater, as Reflections (a flute and classical guitar duo) and has recorded with Michael Francis McCarthy on the CD One Step Forward. She has sung with the Catskill Choral Society, Albany Pro Musica and a series of Motown and jazz reviews.
Together, Dave and Debbie formed an acoustic duo, playing at the Eden Café and the Delmar Bistro, as well as several open mics. Later, they were joined by bass player, Michael Strich, who was also playing with the acoustic duo South Allen.
The Enjoyous band was formed with the addition of a drummer and a guitarist not long before the pandemic hit. After several ups and downs, David, Debbie and Michael had the good fortune to be joined by drummer, singer, songwriter and touring musician, Brian Farrell. With the addition of guitarist and songwriter Andy Purrott, the band was made whole again, and has turned its focus to writing more original material.
