Enjoyous is a 5-piece original band consisting of the following members:

Brian started drumming at 16 years of age, and started touring when he was 17. His first band, Stowaway, was signed by Creation Records and toured Europe. His second band, Listo, is rated one of the top 10 bands of all time in Ireland. His third band, Vetostate, with whom Brian was singer, songwriter and drummer, was signed to the band’s own label, and did extensive tours of Europe and Australia. His fourth band, The Mighty Stef, with whom Brian was session drummer and vocalist, did extensive touring in Europe and North America. Brian has also supported notable artists such as Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphy’s, Boomtown Rats, Corrs, Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Queens of the Stone Age, and more.
Andy Purrott: Guitar, Songwriting, Backing Vocals
Born into a family of musical appreciation, Andy has been influenced by many forms of music. During his formative years Andy would find himself listening to 80’s metal, 70’s soft rock and old-school country. Starting to play guitar at age 16, Andy allowed these influences to inform his playing, and soon he was playing everything from Bon Jovi to Air Supply to Waylon Jennings. During his college years, Andy discovered the magic of Phish, Mile Davis and Genesis, and fully immersed himself in the world of jazz and jazz fusion guitar. “Combining the various and sundry styles of many guitar styles has always been the goal to progressing on the instrument and unlocking a signature sound.” Andy has continued to bring his influences to different musical situations throughout the capital region and has played with bands at local festivals, farmers' markets, and community events.
David MacLeod: vocals, guitar, percussion, and songwriting
A man of no fixed abode for the first 36 years of his life, David finally ended up in Albany, NY in 1991. A strong blues singer, he landed a spot as lead vocalist and founding member of Albany-based Scotty Mac and the Night Owls. Conscious influences include Janis Joplin, B. B. King, Rod Stewart, Sam Cooke, Al Green, Santana, Bob Dylan, Kris Kristofferson, John Prine, Sly and the Family Stone, Wilson Pickett and Bruce Springsteen. Dave also sings with a local choir, does voiceovers and has a recording project in the works. He recently completed a degree in Music Audio Technology from SUNY Schenectady, and additional course work at the College of St. Rose. The music’s in ‘im and it’s gotta come out.
Debbie Reep MacLeod: flute and vocals
Debbie is a semi-retired English teacher, vocalist , flutist and flute instructor, currently residing in Albany, NY. As a vocalist, she has performed with numerous groups, including the Catskill Choral Society (CCS) in Oneonta, NY, and Albany Pro Musica (APM). With CCS, she performed in the Oneonta and Albany areas, New York City and Eastern Europe. With APM, she has performed with the APM Orchestra, the Albany Symphony Orchestra and the Philadelphia Orchestra. She has also sung with smaller groups, including a band performing musical reviews of “Motown and More.” As a flutist, she has taught privately, and played weddings and restaurants as part of a flute and guitar duo, Reflections. She has also performed in pit orchestras for numerous musicals with Orpheus Theater and SUNY Oneonta, and has sung or played flute in several recording sessions.
Michael Strich: electric bass guitar
Michael started playing mainly blues and classic rock in the 1980's, then took a 30-year hiatus for family, work and travel. Lured back to it 14 years ago when his then six-year-old son took up bass, Michael has jumped back in full force and with a wide range of interests. In addition to Enjoyous, he was the bassist for Capital Country and, currently, the bass player for the four-piece classic rock band, 'Finnegan,' and the acoustic duo, South Allen.
