Time to blast off to outer space!

Alvarado Day Camp has been serving girls in the West Contra Costa County for 82 years plus! Come join Alvarado Day Camp this year as we play with SPACE activities. Have you ever wondered how many different ways you can get a piece of paper to fly, make a bottle rocket, or observe the cosmic atmosphere? Come to camp and find out! Our program activities will not only be Space related with creative crafts and activities but also campers will be building new friendships as well as our traditional outdoor camp skills in the most amazing outdoor campsites ever! We hope to see you at Alvarado Day Camp this Summer!!!! 

This 100% volunteer run camp also offers adults the opportunity to go to camp themselves! No previous training required, only an interest in getting outside and having fun with scouts. Volunteers also receive up to $100 in credit for their camper!
