College Visits to QHST

Posted: September 16, 2019

We remind all students that now is a good time to think about what college you want to apply for to pursuit for your future after high school. For the next couple of weeks and threw out the school year, several universities/college will be visiting QHST. Please be reminded that ....

  • College visits take place during students’ lunch periods.
  • All students and all grades are welcome to stop by the college office – room 218 during these times to speak to admissions counselors as long as they have a pass from the cafeteria.
  • Announcements are made in the student cafeteria and also via the College Office newsletter, Skedula and the Remind App.
  • Students are highly encouraged to take advantage of these college visits so that they can learn more about these colleges, their programs and admissions requirements.

Family Income Inquiry Form

Posted: June 26, 2019

All NYC public school students can enjoy free breakfast and lunch at school all year. You do not need to apply for your child to receive meals. However, we do ask families to complete the Family Income Inquiry Form, which helps our schools receive money for the programs. If you complete the form, you may be eligible for fee waivers when applying for college, AP exam fees, etc. This information regarding fee waivers can be obtained by our college office staff.

Please complete the Family Income Inquiry Form as soon as possible starting Tuesday, July 2, 2019, for the 2019 – 20 school year. Have a safe and fun summer. See you back in September.
