Overview
GOAL
To contribute to the attainment of a Level 4 State University by accelerating the development of appropriate technologies and research services along the mandate of the university on various disciplines.
OBJECTIVES
To generate knowledge, technologies, products, innovations, and services under the following R & D area clusters:
a. Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishery.Â
b. Environment and Natural Sciences;
c. Engineering, Industry, Information and Technology;
d. Education, Social and Health Sciences;
e. Business, Law, Tourism and Management;
To generate and develop new knowledge and technologies essential to teaching.
To keep the faculty member abreast of the trends of science and technology.
To make a strong and quality research program is vital to the growth and development of the University.
Research improves the competence of the faculty;
To serve as the basis for a workable and successful extension program.
To propel income-generating projects through the generation of appropriate technologies that maximize profit.
