The Templin TV Studio is a fully functioning studio space used to produce Principia-related live and multi-camera content. This flexible space supports a wide range of hands-on academic learning opportunities.
Primarily, the space is utilized to learn the basic skills of multi-camera production including producing, directing, operating studio equipment, and delivering content as on-camera talent. However, it can also provide a unique way to help enrich academic endeavors or disciplines other than Mass Communication, such as Political Science, Theatre, etc.

1. Work with MSC staff to plan ahead (TV Studio work takes a lot of preparation)
2. Provide at least 2 weeks notice (more depending on the nature/scope of the production)
3. Familiarize yourself with the TV STUDIO POLICIES

The TV Studio is comprised of two spaces, a live soundstage/set as well as a control room for live direction and production. These spaces include:
Three cinema cameras that can be used individually for film-style productions, or together as part of a multi-camera production
Headsets for two-way communication between control room and soundstage
Various set pieces to accommodate a range of productions including news, sitcoms, films, interviews, talk shows, etc.
Flexible lighting grid and instruments
8 input Blackmagic 4k video switcher
16 channel digital audio mixer
Livestreaming capabilities
Teleprompters
On-screen graphics capabilities
Optional connection to Principia Internet Radio for alternative audio-only broadcasting
