In Science the children created scripts to present an information show about sound! They explained how sound is made, how it travels to our ears and how the size of the sound wave impacts the volume.
Art
In Art we have been looking at the artist Jean Michel Basquiat. We used sketching skills to create our own in the same style. Later in the term we will add colours to our artwork.
Year 4 Mission Out - A sense of Adventure
Year 4 embraced their sense of adventure this week during their school trip to Mission Out. Not only did we work on our cooperation through team building games, we also jumped from huge heights and sailed across windy waters! Children took part in a range of challenges and activities including; balancing on a bench while having to arrange themselves in height order and not fall off, defuse a ‘bomb’ by lifting it up using 2 long pieces of rope, jumping off of 3 different sized platforms, sailing a raft to an island and back, mini golf, giant swings and an assault course! Everyone did amazingly!
