What we are learning:

In English our focus author this half term is Oliver Jeffers. We will be exploring texts written by him in class as part of Literacy lessons and during daily drop everything and read sessions.  We will write narratives using our class readers and non chronological reports.

In Maths we will be looking at Place Value to 100, Position and Direction, Money and Time. 

In Geography we will be learning about the UK and their Capital Cities. 

In Science we will be learning about Animals including Humans. 

In PSHE we will be exploring the topic 'Staying safe: How can I stay safe?'

In Computing we will be looking at computer programming.

In PE we will be learning about conditioning. 

In Music we are continuing to practice Rhythm and Pulse. 

In Design and Technology we will be making Animal Masks.

In Religious Education we will be exploring the topic 'Why should we care for others?'
