Computing
In Computing this term we have been looking at using different photography skills. We have been learning about positioning, effects and orientation. We applied these skills as part of our Focus Week to take pictures of different places around our school.
Art
For our Art learning we used water colour to create pieces of abstract art inspired by Alma Thomas. We thought about the different shapes we could use to help create different effects.
Art
As part of our Art learning we started to think about how to use water colour to create lines.
We thought about different effects that we could create based on how much water we used.
We found that keeping our brush drier helped us to have more control over our art work.
History
In History we looked at different sources to help us to find clues about -
How the fire started
Where is started
When it started
We analysed the sources thinking about how reliable they were.
Writing
In Writing we looked at poetry. We identified the features including noun phrases and exclamation sentences. We then worked together to perform the poem thinking about how we use our voices, where we add pauses and thinking about any actions we could include.
