I am truly honored to have received your trust in this primary election. I know that is something your community does not give lightly, as there is so much at stake in this moment in history. Our society made so much progress in recent decades, and now we must ride the waves of backlash. I do believe we will prevail, and I am ready to put myself on the front lines in that work. Too many people are afraid for their neighbors' futures and their own, and I want everyone to live healthy, safe, and joyful lives. Everyone means everyone. Thank you for your time in considering the applications of so many candidates, and thank you for believing me when I say: we're not leaving anyone behind.

in solidarity - Rae

House District 9: Gemma Lowery

I'm the wife of an Army vet, a mother, a proud "MiMi," an educator, and a lifelong Delawarean who has spent my life uplifting others through service and action. I'm a graduate of St. Mark's High School and the University of Delaware, and I earned my MBA in Healthcare Administration from Wilmington University. For more than two decades I've built a career in healthcare focused on access, equity, and innovation. Most recently as an Innovation and Technology leader at ChristianaCare, I helped develop, launch & maintain programs, from tele-ICU to virtual nursing to hospital care-at-home, that expanded access and improved outcomes, especially for rural and underserved communities. My commitment to community goes well beyond healthcare: I'm a two-time delegate to the Democratic National Convention, a member of the Delaware Democratic Party's State Executive Committee, and am active in the Vets, Pride & Black Caucus and the MOT NAACP. I'm known for pragmatic, inclusive leadership. Someone who listens, builds bridges, and delivers. My campaign for State Representative is grounded in three principles: Access, Advocacy, and Accountability. I'm running with one clear promise: public service must be built on public trust & a willingness to fight for the community.

Knowing how much this important community contributes to the world, I am committed to being a vocal voice saying, "be proud of who you are."

House District 23: Dave Redlawsk

I'm honored to have the support of the DelDems Pride Caucus in this primary. We must stand together to defend marriage equality and continue fighting until every member of the LGBTQIA+ community feels safe and free to live as they are without fear. I will vote for the Constitutional Amendment to protect marriage equality in the next session, we need to defend trans rights, and we must ensure that good, safe healthcare is accessible to everyone.
