UPCOMING EVENTS & PERFORMANCES

- 2025 Senior Band Banquet - On Monday, May 19th, at 6 PM, the Band celebrated the our senior members with food and awards at the Washington Park Lions Pavilion.
- 2025 WHS Graduation Commencement - Due to weather, Washington's commencement was held in our gymnasium. The event was on Thursday, June 5th, at 6 PM.
- Seton Hill University Alumni Event - On Saturday, June 7th, the Steel Drum Band was hired to perform at Seton Hill's "MargaritaHILL" Alumni Celebration. The band performed at 9:15 PM.

Band Camp Events

Pre-Band Camp (for all members) - July 21st through July 24th, from 10 AM to 12 PM. We will begin learning our music for the marching season, and sharpen our marching fundamentals.
Marching Band Uniform Fitting - July 24th, from 4 PM to 8 PM.
Band Camp @ Penn West University - July 27th through August 1st. Details are on the 2025 Band Camp page.

2025 Senior Band Banquet

Our senior band banquet was held on Monday, May 19th, at the Washington Park Lions Pavilion.

Dayton Memorial Scholarship), Tiana Ellis (John Philip Sousa Band Award), and Thomas Inghram (J. Marc Svaline Steel Drum Citation of Excellence Award).

Washington Area Senior Center Performance

The Steel Drum Band and Jazz Ensemble performed at the Washington Area Senior Center on Wednesday, April 16th. The ensembles were featured in their 2025 June Newsletter.

2025 Kids Fest

On Saturday, March 29th, the Steel Drum Band performed at the 2025 Kids Fest at the Washington Crown Center, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM. This year, the band was the first stage performance in front of the old Bon Ton!

Alumni Event @ Seton Hill University

On Saturday, June 7th, the Steel Drum Band performed at the 2025 Margarita"Hill" Alumni Event at Seton Hill University. This was our second performance at this annual event, and we look forward to next year!

2025 Washington County Band & Chorus Festival

Congratulations to the following members who participated in the 2025 County Band & Chorus Festival! The event was held at Trinity High School, Washington, from January 31st to February 1st.

2025 PMEA District 1 West Band Festival

Congratulations to senior Thomas Inghram for representing Washington High School in the 2025 District Band 1 West Festival! The event was held at Hampton High School, Allison Park, from January 23rd - 25th.
