Arriving in Wuzhen

West Scenic Zone Tourist Center 西栅旅游集散中心

This will be the main entrance point for most arriving guests. Google will have a check-in area inside the tourist center close to the electronic ticketing machine (look for the Google sign!). Staff will stand by to assist guests with the check-in process.

Collecting your badge

We will distribute the badges on site at the West Scenic Zone Tourist Center. Please look for the Google check-in desk in the center. Guests may collect their badges, lunch vouchers (if applicable), and summit materials upon checking in. For guest who have booked rooms through Google teams, they may also proceed to check in for their hotels at the group check-in counter also located in the Tourist Service Center.

Upon receiving the badge, guests may enter the Westgate premise and proceed to board the golf cart shuttles to hotels and/or the convention venue.

Badge Collection Times (subject to change):

• 5 pm - 7 pm , Sunday, May 22 (TBD, pending badge delivery from the authorities)
• 7 am - 11am, Tuesday, May 23
• 7 am - 11am, Wednesday, May 24
• 8 am - 11am, Thursday, May 25
• 7 am - 11am, Friday, May 26
• 8 am - 11am, Saturday, May 27

Hotels

Guests are responsible for paying for and making their own hotel arrangements unless otherwise noted. When you registered and if you indicated you needed assistance with hotel reserations, you were connected to Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) to finalize your arrangements. If you haven't made reservations yet, please visit the Wuzhen Tourism Site to complete your own travel arrangements.

Parking

Most guests who are staying inside the zone area will arrive at the West Scenic Zone Tourist Center and take golf cart shuttles to the convention center. For those that are not lodging inside the zone area, if you have to drive to the venue directly, you may find parking at the No. 2 Wuzhen West Parking Lot which is first-come, first-serve. We highly recommend carpooling due to limited parking space.

1. Please note the event is confirmed to take place on May 23-27, 2017. There will be no access on other days.
2. Please leave enough time before the event starts each day for transportation and badge allocation times. For badge allocation, we recommend you budget at least 1 hour before event starts due to the high volume of guests and for commuting to the venue.
3. There will be lunch provided to Googlers and Google-invited guests every day as long as they have a badge. Kindly note lunch vouchers are provided at the summit registration check-in at the West Scenic Zone Tourist Center.
4. Please bring the identification document(s) you used when you registered to attend the event to gain entrance and complete a security check (your passport, for example). For PRC citizens staying in Wuzhen, please note only a national ID card or a driver’s license will be accepted as identification.
5. Please wear and visibly display your conference badge at all times and carry your official identification document (passport, national ID card, driver’s license) to prepare for security checks. There is no need to purchase a scenic entrance ticket as long as you have the event badge.
