UV Transilluminator sometimes referred to as a gel light box or lab light box, the UV transilluminator works by emitting high levels of UV radiation through the viewing surface. The key application for a UV transilluminator is for visualization of DNA and protein agarose and polyacrylamide gels after electrophoresis.

Spectrophotometers are the instruments used to identify or confirm the chemical species, chemical structure, or concentration of substances in a sample. Advanced spectrometers help get the reliable results one desires. The spectrophotometer is basically an instrument which measures the amount of light that a sample absorbs. The spectrophotometer works by passing a light beam through a sample to measure the light intensity of a sample. 

Nanodrop Spectrophotometer/Bioanalyzer

Nano-Drop Spectrophotometer enables highly accurate UV/Vis analyses of small volume (1 µl) quantification of DNA, RNA, proteins and dye incorporation. The patented sample retention system eliminates the need for cuvettes and capillaries which decreases the measurement cycle time. The Bioanalyzer can be used to assess the size and quality of DNA over a range of sizes and concentrations. The DNA 1000 assay can be used with extracted, clean DNA to look at the size profile of a sample from 25bp to 1000bp at a concentration of 0.1-50ng/ul.

The ChemiDoc MP Imaging System is an instrument for imaging and analyzing gels and western blots. It is designed to address multiplex fluorescent western blotting, chemiluminescence detection, general gel documentation applications, and stain-free technology imaging needs. Main applications are electrophoresis of protein, including stain-free, and nucleic acid gel imaging and documentation. Blotting can be done identify and quantify proteins, nucleic acids, protein-ligand interactions, etc. with fluorescence, chemiluminescence, or colorimetric detection.
