Right now, we need $8000 Canadian dollars to rescue Sahar's family from Afghanistan and start the arduous process of bringing them to Canada over the next few years. That process will also take many tens of thousands of dollars, but it starts with getting them to Pakistan.

In the long run, we will also need help with providing housing, clothing, furniture and paperwork.
