Science Fair Overview
The school’s Annual Science Fair will take place on Thursday, April 16th, 2026, from 6:30–7:45 PM in the Pres’ Church Hall. Families are invited to attend and celebrate students’ hard work and creativity.
Participation in the Science Fair is required, and the project will count as a graded science class assignment. Students must complete a project that demonstrates their understanding of scientific concepts and the scientific process. The topic must directly relate to their current grade-level science curriculum.

Research Notes and Source Log: Due Friday, January 30th, 2026.
My Science Fair Topic: Due Friday, February 6th, 2026.
Questions, Hypothesis, and Materials: Due Friday, February 20th, 2026.
Project Procedure: Due Friday, March, 6th, 2026
Data Page and Graph Template: Due Friday, March 20th, 2026
Results and Conclusions: Due Tuesday, March 30th, 2026
Science Fair Tri-Fold Posters (Completed): Due, Friday, April 10th, 2026
Science Fair Night!: Thursday, April 16th, 2026
Each student must create a 36” x 48” tri-fold poster board to display their project.
The poster must include:
Title – A clear and creative project title
Purpose/Question – The problem or question being tested
Hypothesis – What the student predicts will happen
Materials/Methods – Supplies used and steps followed
Results/Findings – Data and experiment results
Conclusion – What was learned and whether the hypothesis was correct
Visuals – Charts, graphs, diagrams, or photos
The board should be neat, organized, and visually engaging. Students should also be prepared to explain their project during the event.
Encourage creativity and strong visuals (photos, charts, graphs).
Set a timeline to complete each part of the project on time.
Posters can be purchased at stores like Walmart, Target, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Rite-Aid.

The Science Fair is a required, graded project where students will conduct research or an experiment connected to their science class. It helps students practice the scientific method, research skills, and presentation skills while sharing their work with families and the school community.
