Source: Pratt Institute ArchiveCharles Pratt was loved immensely by his students. He interacted frequently with them, took them on picnics; and the students complied handwritten notes and drawings on his return from his trips abroad. Pratt found it necessary to establish a relationship with his students because he felt that if he was going to inculcate his philosophies in them, he would have to connect with them.
