The School Test Coordinator (STC) is the individual at the school level who is responsible for the overall coordination of the test administration. They are the primary point of contact for any issues experienced by Test Administrators during the test administration. The STC is responsible for coordinating test administration at their school. The STC is also responsible for all post-testing procedures such as stopping all test sessions and returning all secure materials to the District Test Coordinator (DTC).
Test Coordinators' responsibilities for maintaining security:
Coordinate the administration of all statewide assessments, including preparation before and after the testing window.
Train building-level staff on security protocols, prohibited activities, and actions to take in case of testing irregularities or security breaches.
Maintain school-level records and documents for all statewide testing.
Stablish and document the chain of custody of test materials, to ensure that test materials are accounted for at all times before, during, and after test administration by using the appropriate security forms.
Keep all testing materials in secured storage with limited access. Materials are never to be accessible to personnel not responsible for testing.
Adhere to all state and district policies regarding the reporting of security breaches and/or infractions.
