Getting Access to Your Transcript
If you need access to your transcript there are multiple places where you can access your course history to assist in completing college applications. Below are a few ways to view your course history:
Synergy StudentVue: Log into StudentVue, Select Course History, then Graduation Status. Click on the blue box titled Unofficial Transcript. Step-by-step instructions are available here.
MaiaLearning: Log into MaiaLearning and go to Academics on the left menu bar. Selected Completed Courses. Your course history should be viewable.
If you need to get an official copy of your transcript, reach out to your school's main office, or complete the online request form.
Teacher and Counselor Letters of Recommendation
During the work stoppage teachers and counselors will not be available to write letters of recommendation for students. We know this is an important part of your student’s college application. We have taken the following steps based upon implemented practices from other districts who have experienced work stoppages.
PPS has prepared a Statement of Work Stoppage that will be included in each high school’s school profile and will automatically be sent when materials are electronically sent in Maia Learning. This statement of work stoppage will be included on materials sent after November 1. If you have already submitted your college application materials this letter will not be included. You can send a .pdf version of this letter directly to college admissions offices if needed.
Update: Oregon State University and University of Oregon do not require letters of recommendation. Students wishing to apply to the two institutions are able to provide unofficial transcripts (OSU) or self-report their coursework (UO) through the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR), to apply by their stated deadlines. Students do not need to arrange with their teachers or counselor in order to complete their applications. Linfield University is extending its Early Action deadline to December 1 for PPS students and will continue to be flexible as events unfold.

Personalized Learning Requirements
In addition to meeting the 24 credit requirements, all Oregon high school graduates must complete Personalized Learning Diploma Requirements (PLRs): 1) Two Career Related Learning Experience Reflection(s), 2) Resume and 3) My Plan Project. The following self-directed activities support students to complete the Personalized Learning PLRs:
Career Learning Experiences (CRLEs)
Career-Related Learning Experiences (CRLEs) are structured educational experiences that connect learning to the world beyond the classroom. Students may access video recordings on specific career pathways, college preparation, and other opportunities. For more information, go to the College & Career Readiness website where you can see the CRLE Scoring Guide and CRLE Reflection Sample that “MEETS” OR “EXCEEDS” all the Requirements = PASSING Grade. Completed CRLEs should be shared with the high school career coordinator to review.
Resume
The resume is a job search tool, and may also be used in scholarship competitions, college admissions or when asking for a letter of recommendation. The resume should be a positive and accurate presentation of each student's skills, accomplishments, education and experiences. Students may meet the resume requirement by doing the following:
Create a resume using Microsoft Word, Canva or another word processing tool.
Submit your resume to Get Schooled for review.
A hard copy must be evaluated according to this rubric by the student’s English teacher.
My Plan Project
My Plan Project: This is an opportunity for students to create a timely and dynamic piece that paints a picture of who they are, what they’re capable of, and where they are going in life, and could be useful for their next steps in college and career. My Plan Project includes a more flexible format open beyond just essays in order to include a variety of options.
OSAC application (The 4 areas in the MyPlan Project correspond in theme to those on the OSAC so students can use them on the app if needed)
The final My Plan Project must be evaluated by the student's English teacher.
Get Schooled: Virtual Support and Text Messaging
PPS is partnering with Get Schooled, a national non-profit organization, to support students in preparing for life after high school. 100% of Get Schooled supports are FREE to students. Services are available virtually and through text messaging.
