School Counseling Program's Mission Statement:
The goal of the school counseling program is to provide ALL students with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to explore and achieve in academic, career/college, and personal/social areas. The counselor works collaboratively with parents/guardians, family members, teachers, administration, community members and the students themselves to create meaningful experiences that will allow students to discover, practice, question, and engage in their learning.
All students:
benefit from a collaborative, respectful, relationship between teachers, counselors, administrators, caregivers and community members
should feel that school is a safe environment to explore, question, and grow
are unique and come in with individual strengths that positively contribute to the school community
deserve to learn skills and information that will make them college and/or career ready
