Behavioral Contract - students and families sign and coach brings to the tournament and turns them in at registration
Coach’s Responsibilities and Expectations Contract - must be signed and turned in at registration
Team Registration - due by March 6.
Please read the OBOB Official Handbook and be familiar with tournament procedures.
NEW THIS YEAR
Coaches MUST sign off on scores and be available for potential tie-breaker rounds (see schedule for times).
Coaches must sign a Coach’s Responsibilities and Expectations Contract
Each team must have a trained scorekeeper as a backup. This person must attend the volunteer training session, but will travel WITH their team.
All internet capable devices (Phones, iPads, watches) must be off and out of sight during battles. Any exceptions (hearing aid apps, insulin pumps) MUST have an official exemption signed by the Regional Manager.
Fidgets are not allowed during battles. If a student requires one per an IEP or 504 Plan, reach out to the regional manager at tstreet@pps.net and be prepared to follow the guidelines set forth by the Oregon Battle of the Books Executive Board.
