About the Tournament

36 teams are competing for 2 spots at the state championship.

16 teams will go on to afternoon elimination rounds.

Over 55  teams are competing for 3 spots at the State Championships.

Teams will be divided into 2 sections - 16 teams from EACH of the 2 sections will  move on to the Elimination rounds in the afternoon.

Elimination rounds will merge the 2 sections. 

3 teams ONLY qualify for state.

Each team  plays 4 times in the morning pool play. 

No "steals on questions" for morning pool play.

Total scores from all 4 plays will determine teams who advance to the afternoon.

Afternoon Rounds are elimination rounds.

Missed questions by one team  will be given to the other team as a chance to "steal" ONLY in elimination rounds.

It takes over a hundred volunteers to make this event happen.  Please thank the people you see - moderators, coaches, registration and our invisible but invaluable room arrangers.

• snack bar available morning and during lunch with healthy options

•  local cafes are near Lloyd Center  that can prepare orders to go in advance
