Projects should be registered with the GBSE (At Large) fair NWSE website.
Middle School competition will be at NWSE. (please see below for more information)
High School Teachers
All projects must register and have all documentation uploaded in AFOR on the NWSE.org website by 3:00 pm February 9, 2026 to be eligible for competition. (Project review begins promptly at 3:30 pm) Teachers need to register themselves as an adult 'sponsor'. This will allow teachers to then register student projects and get a project ID for students. Teachers will need to create a password for their students (keep it simple such as 'Lincoln'). Students will then login into their project with their project ID and password. Students can then upload their forms and project information.
Be sure to:
Review information about NWSE and ISF, including the Rulebook
Support students in understanding the rules of the competition, and working through their project. Students need to complete their online registration and complete their reserach plan for apporval BEFORE collecting data or engaging in a design build. For safety reasons, some projects may require SRC or IRB review and approval before students can begin collecting data. Check out the Risk Assessment Guide.
