PPS Science and Engineering Expo Judge Information and Registration

Judges are needed for the 2026 PPS Science and Engineering Expo being held at Marshall Campus on Friday, February 27, 2026. Judges will have one week prior to the fair date to review project materials, then do student interviews, judge deliberation, and finalist judging in person on Friday, February 27, 2026. PPSSEE Judges have an exciting opportunity to both mentor and advise the next generation of scientists and engineers and to select projects that will represent our region in state and international science fair competitions. To register as a judge you will need to sign up for the PPS Science Expo on the NWSE AFOR system. You will need to sign in as a visitor on the day of the event.

10:15 Judge Poster Preview

11:00-12:00 Judging Round 1

11:30-12:30 Lunch 

12:30-1:30 Judging Round 2

1:45-  Finalist Interviews: Each finalist will present to and answer questions from a panel of finalist judges. Other finalists will observe. Finalist Judge deliberation - selecting 1 project that will go on to ISEF.

2:30 Awards ceremony (optional for judges) - all are welcome, including students, parents, judges, and supporters.
