Family To Do List
Volunteer Background Check (Link): All volunteers, including field trip chaperones, must have a background check on file to participate. It lasts for 3 years. Directions can be found on the PPS volunteer site linked above.
Label All the Things: Please label any personal items with your child’s name. Coats, jackets, mittens, backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles and such should all arrive with a name written directly on them or attached in some way. I’m always surprised at the amount of things that end up in the lost-and-found, sometimes never to return to their owners. I know there is a grown-up at home lamenting about the loss of a winter jacket, backpack, water bottle or lunch box. Things with names usually get returned. Things without names often don’t.
