Every Thursdays from 1-2:30. Please bring a charged chromebook and your social security number if you have one. Register in Maia to receive a pass. 

PCC Preview Day

Franklin is taking students to Portland Community College SE Campus on Friday December 5th for PCC Preview day is a day! Preview Day is a day to learn more about life and support as a PCC student. Students will be taking the Trimet bus from Franklin leaving at 830am from the cafteria and returning before lunch. Registration is required. Students must register here on the PCC website . Students also need to pick up a Field Trip Form for this trip in the counseling office and return it to the counseling office or bring it the day of the field trip. 

Beaver VIP

December 9th 1-3pm. On site admissions day at FHS. Meet with an admissions counselor and know your admission decision. Must have an unweighted 3.0 GPA, be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident or Refugee and complete the OSU application process. Register here: beav.es/VIP-Franklin

2025 Fall College Admissions Rep Visit Schedule

Below, you will find a list of universities that will be on campus. Please check the list on a weekly basis as we are constantly updating the visit schedule. 

Students can sign up to attend an admissions presentation and also receive a pass excusing them from class by signing up to attend a session in Maialearning.  Please see instructions below on how to log into Maialearning and sign up for a college admissions visit.  All presentations will take place in the College and Career Center.

Logging Into Maialearning

1. Go to https://www.maialearning.com/.

2. In the top right corner click Log In

3. Click the "Sign in with Google" button - use your PPS email and password

​Signing Up for College Visits in Maialearning

1. Login to Maialearning

2. Go to the “Events” tab & click on “Visits,”

3. Look for upcoming visits, and sign up by clicking "Actions" and "Attend"

These sessions can be connected to your school email/Google calendar so that you can join them quickly.  Most visits will be in-person and held in the College and Career Center.
