2024 UPCOMING EVENTS

University of Oregon (UO) Admitted Student Session: Admissions representatives from UO will be on campus to meet with students that have been admitted to discuss next steps for the Fall 2024. 

Portland Community College (PCC) Next Steps Sessions: Admissions representatives will be on campus to meet with students that have been admitted to PCC for the fall 2024 to go over next steps. They will be in the College and Career Center on the following dates and times:

    • May 20, 2024 from 10:30-11:30 am

Senior May Decision Day Activity! May 15, 2024 in front of Franklin High School. This event takes place during the lunch hour. Seniors come join us as we celebrate your upcoming graduation and next steps after graduation. There will be games, treats, and prize giveaways! 

Help Sessions for Seniors: We will be offering help sessions in the College and Career Center to support seniors with completing the FAFSA, applying to the Oregon Promise Grant, and support with completion of college applications. 

Parent/guardians are also welcome to drop in during these sessions as well if they need assistance supporting their student with the FAFSA application.

Summer College Prep Workshops July 29, 30, 31  and August 5 & 6 We will be hosting a week of workshops for students who will be starting their senior year in the fall. We will be offering workshops on the following topics:

• Paying for College & Financial Aid

• Winning Scholarships

• The Common App 

• College Essay

• College Selection & Fit
