2/8 - This was a game during Math time. Behind a screen, one partner built a structure using 3D shapes. Then, they had to describe the structure using position words and their partner had to build it by following the directions only. They removed the screen (table bins) to see if the structures were the same.

1/18 - In Math, we pretended we were bakers packing 6-pack boxes of muffins. The picture above shows a "box" of 6 banana muffins (kids holding yellow paper.) One by one, we replaced a banana muffin with a blueberry muffin (a kid holding blue paper). Each time we found the number pair that made 6 (e.g., 5 & 1, 4 & 2, etc.)

1/14 - We learned about bullying and upstanding during our Social & Emotional Learning time today.

1/4 - In science, we learned about how meteors often hit the Earth and look like shooting stars to us. We also learned that we could harvest possible grains of meteorites by dragging our magnet through a downspout puddle. We did find some magnetic grains of something!
