We will examine a wide range of texts that span classic works as well as with contemporary writing. Through the study of a variety of text types and media, you will build knowledge, analyze ideas, delineate arguments, and develop writing, collaboration, and communication skills by creating and executing high school level classroom discussions. Based on our findings you will be asked to reflect on what you have learned through different types of writing, and effectively manage your notes for preparations for tests, projects, essays, and presentations. You will gain very valuable resources over the course of our time together that will allow you to succeed in the classroom, as well as in many aspects of everyday life.
