I have had fun seeing all the wonderful artwork you have created while we have been away from each other. However, I can not wait for us to be together again in the Art room!!

Week of june 1st

Space Shuttle Drawing-

Over the weekend the United States launched its first astronauts in space since 2011. The astronauts are Robert L. Behnken and Douglas G. Hurley. They launched into space on Saturday afternoon aboard a brand new space shuttle called SpaceX Dragon. SpaceX Dragon was launched into orbit by the company's Falcon 9 launch vehicle to resupply the International Space Station. It was so awesome watching the space shuttle launch over the weekend. If you missed it I have attached a quick video of the launch that you can watch.

This weeks assignment is to draw a space shuttle. Draw along with the video.

Happy Memorial Day

I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day and long weekend!

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning the military personnel who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. This weeks assignment is based on The American Flag.

Following along with the video and create an American Flag in the shape of a heart.

week of May 18th- FOUND oBject People

Last week you found objects around your house to create your Color Wheels and they were AWESOME!! This week I would like you to find things around your house and create a person. Start with your person's head, body, legs, arms, feet and then add details like eyes, nose mouth, hair, fingers etc. Look at the pictures I have posted to get some ideas!!!
