Turkey has thousands types of different food. For example there are some desserts called keşkül which is a almond based milk pudding. Then there is this delicouse thing called lokma which is deep fried dough saoked in syrup or drizzeled in honey.
This is something called Manti. In Ireland it is known as Turkish dumplings. Manti is a tiny homemade pastery filled with ground beef, cooked in water and served with yougurt and sauce. It is a hard dish to make because you need skill and it takes ages.
Ingredients,
For the dough you need these, flour,
egg, salt and water.
As for the Beef filling you need, ground beef, onion, parsly and spices optional and you can use tomato or pepper paste too.
First you need a bit of dough.
Roll the dough witha rolling pin not very thin about 2mm.
Cut in strips then into small squares.
Then put a bit of meat on top of each square.
Get the square and combine all edges.
Next you have this bundle of shapes.
It takes no longer than 15- 20 mins to finish 1 peice of dough.
Then it is ready to eat and Enjoy.
