Westview Newscast is a proud member of the PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs. Students in our program collaborate with industry professionals at WETA in Washington DC to produce original content for Student Reporting Labs and the PBS NewsHour.

The Student Reporting Labs program connects students with a network of public broadcasting mentors and an innovative journalism curriculum to develop digital media, critical thinking and communication skills while producing original news reports.
