Hello! I am Ms. Brown, your Park Village Penguin's School Counselor!
Hello Park Village Students and Families,
I am so fortunate to work as the School Counselor for Park Village Elementary. I have been a school counselor for 16 years. I have been part of this amazing school community since 2016 where I served as a school counselor at Poway High School.
I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to San Diego in 2006. I am a graduate with an Early Childhood Education degree from Ohio University and earned my masters in School Counseling from the University of San Diego. I enjoy frequent trips to Ohio to visit family each year. In my spare time, I enjoy playing and watching sports, going to the beach, bike riding, reading books, shopping and catching up with family and friends.
At Park Village, I am available to provide support to students, parents, and staff. I think many of you have already experienced that Park Village is truly a very special school. We have a dedicated and committed staff who have a passion for helping students learn and grow to be the best people they can be. We strive each day to have every Penguin feel safe, respected and valued.
