SCHOOL COUNSELORS...

EXAMPLES OF SERVICES I PROVIDE:

CLASSROOM LESSONS

During the school year, every  Adobe Bluffs classroom is led in several classroom lessons throughout the year, following the Second Step curriculum. Second Step is a program rooted in social-emotional learning that helps transform schools into supportive, successful learning environments uniquely equipped to help children thrive. Lessons at Adobe Bluffs are led by the counselor or the student services assistant and are grade-level specific.

We recognize that social-emotional learning is more important than ever. Each week, the counseling team will be providing Second Step Lessons. Additional classroom lessons are also provided as needed in collaboration with teachers for our students needs.
