Career Fair
Each Spring, Black Mountain presents a Career Fair at both
lunches. This fair includes booths from local businesses,
major companies, our parent community businesses and
professions, as well as local colleges and universities. Our
students get to explore the different careers and vocations
that interest them.
Class lessons
Class lessons
Each year, counselors facilitate college and career guidance lessons in our 7th and 8th grade classes. Students use online interest inventories to match their interests to possible college and career options.
