To be considered for the Research Accelerator Residency Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be based in Uzbekistan (priority) or elsewhere in Central Asia. Uzbek citizens studying or working abroad with research projects relevant to Uzbekistan are also encouraged to apply.
Hold at minimum a Bachelor’s degree. Preference will be given to PhD students and recent Master’s graduates in Economics, Public Policy, Statistics, or related quantitative social sciences.
Commit to active participation throughout the 12-month residency period. The program is primarily remote, with optional access to a dedicated workspace at the Social Policy Lab.
Applicants should demonstrate:
Prior experience in a research environment.
Strong interest in impact evaluation, social protection, development economics, education, health, or related fields.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Working proficiency in statistical programming (R, Stata, or Python).
Proficiency in English (reading and writing).
