Applicants should submit the following materials:
Completed Application Form. Please note that you will be required to upload your CV as part of the form.
Research Proposal (max. 1,200 words). Your proposal should outline: 1) The research question; 2) Policy relevance; 3) Context within existing literature; and 4) Proposed methodology; 5) What stage of the project you are in; 6) What would you like mentorship on. The proposal should focus on social policy, impact evaluation, or development challenges in Uzbekistan. You may use the provided template to guide your submission.
Please submit all application materials by  14th April 2026. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submissions are encouraged. Selected applicants may be asked to participate in a call with J-PAL staff to further discuss their research proposal.
