Year Long Course
Students will take this course if they are interested in becoming better actors and performers through competition. They will learn how to create individualized and group performance showcases using acting and stage movement for competition purposes. Students will be required to maintain eligibility for MSHSAA Speech Competitions.

One-Act Play: Year Long Course
Readers Theatre: Year Long Course
Students should take this cours if they are interested in participating in either MSHSAA One-Act Play/Readers Theatre competition. The class will consist of rehearsing a play in class with the goal of taking it to competition. The type of play is determined at the start of the semester.

You can only be enrolled in Readers Theatre or One-Act Play, you cannot be enrolled in both

Year Long Course
Students should take this course if they are interested in learning of the history and background of the theatre arts and getting various types of acting experience. They will analyze a theatrical script to get hands on experience with what goes on behind the scenes with direction, production, and crew. This course is a basic overview of the fundamentals of theatre

Year Long Course
This course trains the student in all areas of theatre practice except acting. The student becomes proficient in analyzing scripts for set design, color, lighting, costuming, and stage make-up. Practical experience is gained in the construction of sets and stage materials.
